Read about my quest on RunNow.com

Word is starting to spread a bit wider about my 2010 quest to be the first person to complete the entire, expanded Rock & Roll Endurance Series. An interview with Matt Fitzgerald was posted this week about how I came to take on this challenge, how I started running, my connection to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and my efforts to raise $10,000 for the fight against blood cancers this year. Please follow the above link, read the story and add your comment. My thanks to Matt for such a detailed and accurate story.
This Sunday is R&R number two: Rock & Roll Mardi Gras Marathon and its followed just two weeks later by the Rock & Roll Dallas Half Marathon. Both these events are inagural Rock & Roll runs - part of the expansion from 2010 that has made this feat so exciting for me. Plus it's a chance to celebrate the flourishing south.
I'm excited to have Reesa, Johanna, Wendy and Hillary, from the bay area TNT and SMS groups joining me in Nola and Megan and Eric from my company, Forrester Research joining me in Dallas.
Training has been strong since Arizona. Did the 20 miler in gorgeous Woodside, CA and the 18 miler was around Lake Merced and Golden Gate Park in San Francisco. Absolutely fantastic places to run. No nagging injuries, on my second pair of Asics of the year and all the gear is ready to go.
Wish me luck!

Live interview on The Runner's Roundtable, this Friday

Please join me on Friday, February 5th at 3pm PST for a special discussion about the 2010 Rock & Roll Endurance Series campaign on The Runner's Roundtable podcast. This is a great podcast for listening to a wide collection of runners about their feats, lessons learned, goals and tribulations. Good listen while on your long runs.
Also big thanks to those who have supported my fundraising campaign thus far. Crossed the $5,000 mark last month thanks to you!
If you haven't had a chance to give yet, please donate today by clicking on the TNT ad on the upper right of this page.

Less than 30 days to Rock & Roll Mardi Gras Marathon in New Orleans. Training is going well! More on this later.
